Fried rice is a dish of cooked rice that has been stir-fried in a wok or a frying pan and is usually mixed with other ingredients such as eggs, vegetables, seafood, or meat. It is most often served up as a side dish but is also eaten as a main dish.

Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons peanut oil
- 1/2+ pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 bunch sliced green onions (as pictured above, sometimes i used white onions instead)
- 1 can bamboo shoots, very finely diced
- 3-4 cups cold, cooked rice
- 2 cups fresh bean sprouts
- 6 tablespoons soy sauce
- 4 - eggs, slightly beaten.
How To Make shrimp fried rice

Step 1Heat 1 Tbsp. oil in large, deep skillet or wok at 375 degrees.

Step 2Add shrimp. Cook until just done. Transfer to a plate and set aside.

Step 3Add another Tbsp. of oil. Then add green onions and bamboo shoots; stir-fry 30 seconds.

Step 4Add rice and bean sprouts, stir-fry 30 seconds. Add soy sauce; stir to mix.

Step 5Make a well in center of rice. Pour in eggs. Allow to set; break up with spatula and stir into rice.

Step 6Stir shrimp into rice.

Step 7Serve immediately.
