I love egg foo young and I like to add a little sugar to the gravy for a bit of sweetness. You can use any meat you like. Chicken and ground pork work well with this recipe. Bon' Appetite

Ingredients
- 10 large eggs
- 8 large uncooked shrimp diced
- 2 cups bean sprouts
- 2 medium shallots diced
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup mushrooms diced
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- GRAVY
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups chicken stock
- 1/4 cup each soy sauce and oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons each dry sherry and sweet chili sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
- 3 - green onions chopped for garnish
How To Make shrimp egg foo young

Step 1Beat the eggs and mix in all ingredients except oil. Get a skillet hot and add the oil. Pour eggs in 1/2 cup at a time to make a pancake. Brown on one side then flip and brown on the other. Remove from pan and repeat with remaining egg mixture.

Step 2For the gravy add the butter to pan and melt. Add the flour and make a roux. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil whisking until thick.

Step 3Pour gravy over egg and garnish with green onions
