Ingredients
- 2/3 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 can (28 ounces) can tomatoes
- 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- celery salt to taste
- 1-1/2 pound shrimp, cooked
How To Make shrimp creole

Step 1Saute onions, green pepper and celery in butter. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, and seasonings and simmer for 40 minutes. Add cooked shrimp just before serving.

Step 2Serve over rice. Chicken and pork chops are delicious when baked in this sauce at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
