Ingredients For shanghai shrimp

  • 4 oz
    shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 1 Tbsp
    grated ginger
  • 3 clove
    garlic minced
  • 3
    scallions finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    dry sherry
  • 4 Tbsp
    dark soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp
  • 2 tsp
    red wine vinegar

How To Make shanghai shrimp

    mix the sherry, dark soy sauce, sugar, and red wine vinegar together. Set aside.

    Add the oil to a skillet or wok. Add the ginger, garlic, and scallions and stir fry for 30 seconds. Add the shrimp and cook until pink. Pour the sauce over the shrimp and turn the heat up on high. Cook 2 to 3 minutes until the sauce is glazed and thickened.
