seasoning salt
1/2 tsp
1/2 tsp
2 Tbsp
lemon pepper
sea scallops
2 Tbsp
olive oil
4 Tbsp
chopped fresh parsley
4 tsp
lemon juice

How to Make Seared Sea Scallops


  • 1In a large bowl, mix together flour, salt, oregano, thyme and lemon pepper.
  • 2Roll the scallops in the flour mixture until lightly coated on all sides.
  • 3Heat olive oil in a skillet or frying pan over a high heat. Add 4 scallops to the pan and sear on all sides (about 2 minutes for each side). Remove scallops from pan and place on a plate in the oven to keep warm until ready to serve. Repeat until all the scallops have been seared.
  • 4Sprinkle the scallops with the lemon juice and chopped parsley and serve.
