Ingredients
- 1 pound sea scallops
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- salt and pepper
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro or parsley
How To Make seared scallops with garlic butter

Step 1Pat the scallops dry and season salt and pepper. Add oil to a hot skillet cast iron is best. Sear the scallops for about 2 minutes each side. Remove from pan and set aside

Step 2Add the butter to the pan. Stir in the garlic and cook 30 seconds. Return the scallops to the pan. Add the lemon juice and cilantro. Serve immediately
