Ingredients

  • 1 - potato, chopped
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 - carrots, chopped
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can tomatoe sauce, small
  • 1/2 pound andouille sausage, cut into small pieces
  • 1-2 tablespoon old bay seasoning
  • 1/2 - 3/4 pounds shrimp
  • 1 cup crab meat
  • - water to cover by 1/2 inch

How To Make seafood stew

  • Step 1
    Put first nine ingredients in 10 inch DO. If needed, add water to cover ingredients by ½ inch of liquid.
  • Step 2
    Bring to a boil and bring down the heat until the stew simmers. Simmer until the vegetables begin to turn soft.
  • Step 3
    Add shrimp and crab meat and cook another five to ten minutes.
  • Step 4
    Serve with bread or rolls. Makes approximately eight servings.
  • Step 5
    You can add other seafood like clams, white fish, scallops and crawfish.
