Ingredients

  • 1
    potato, chopped
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 2 stalk(s)
    celery, chopped
  • 1
    carrots, chopped
  • 1 can(s)
    chicken broth
  • 1 can(s)
    diced tomatoes
  • 1 can(s)
    tomatoe sauce, small
  • 1/2 lb
    andouille sausage, cut into small pieces
  • 1-2 Tbsp
    old bay seasoning
  • 1/2 - 3/4 lb
    shrimp
  • 1 c
    crab meat
  • ·
    water to cover by 1/2 inch

How to Make Seafood Stew

Step-by-Step

  1. Put first nine ingredients in 10 inch DO. If needed, add water to cover ingredients by ½ inch of liquid.
  2. Bring to a boil and bring down the heat until the stew simmers. Simmer until the vegetables begin to turn soft.
  3. Add shrimp and crab meat and cook another five to ten minutes.
  4. Serve with bread or rolls. Makes approximately eight servings.
  5. You can add other seafood like clams, white fish, scallops and crawfish.
