Ingredients For scallops with spiced cherry sauce

  • 24
    sea scallops
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • salt
  • 1/2 c
    spiced cherry jam
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • microgreens for garnish

How To Make scallops with spiced cherry sauce

  • 1
    Mix the jam with the butter in a small skillet on stove top over med heat until melted and warmed. Set aside and keep warm
  • 2
    Add the olive oil and butter to a skillet. Get it hot. Pat the scallops dry and season with salt. Sear the scallops in batches 2 minutes per side until golden
  • 3
    Place a smear of cherry jam mixture and plate and top with scallops. Add microgreens for garnish
