Ingredients
- 12 large sea scallops
- salt and pepper
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemongrass paste
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger grated
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 scallions chopped
How To Make scallops in lemongrass ginger sauce

Step 1For the sauce Mix the lemongrass paste, garlic, ginger, fish sauce and brown sugar together in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook until sugar is dissolved. Set aside.

Step 2In a skillet add the olive oil. Pat the scallops dry and season with salt and pepper

Step 3Sear on each side for about 4 minutes. Spoon sauce on serving plate. Transfer the scallops to the plate and garnish with scallions.
