- shucked maryland standard oysters with liquor
- 3 c
- coarsely crushed fresh crackers (use big oyster crackers or water biscuits)
- 1 stick
- margarine or butter
- 2 c
- salt and pepper
How to Make Scalloped Oysters
- 1In a greased 2-quart casserole, place alternate layers of oysters and crackers, doting with butter and sprinkling with salt and pepper. End with a layer of crumbs.
- 2Add milk until liquid almost reaches top of casserole. Dot with remaining butter. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees F for 45-60 minutes until browned.
