Ingredients
- 1 quart shucked maryland standard oysters with liquor
- 3 cups coarsely crushed fresh crackers (use big oyster crackers or water biscuits)
- 1 stick margarine or butter
- 2 cups milk
- - salt and pepper
How To Make scalloped oysters

Step 1In a greased 2-quart casserole, place alternate layers of oysters and crackers, doting with butter and sprinkling with salt and pepper. End with a layer of crumbs.

Step 2Add milk until liquid almost reaches top of casserole. Dot with remaining butter. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees F for 45-60 minutes until browned.
