  • 1
    mango peeled and diced
  • 2 Tbsp
    lime juice
  • 2 Tbsp
    red bell pepper & ancho chili pepper jam
  • 2 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1/4 c
    cilantro chopped

  • 4
    salmon fillets
  • 2 Tbsp
  • ·
    salt and pepper

How to Make Salmon with Spicy Mango Salsa


  1. Mix all ingredients for the salsa together and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Place a large skillet over high heat and get it hot. Add the oil and let it warm 1 minute.
  3. Season the salmon with salt and pepper.Lay the salmon skin side down in the hot pan and let sit without moving it around for at least 2 minutes to get the skin crispy. Turn the salmon over and get it nice and brown on the other side. Flip the salmon two more times then remove from heat cover and let sit for 2 or 3 more minutes until no longer pink in middle.
  4. Serve the mango salsa over the cooked salmon
