I don't like fish as a general rule, but I can eat these... This is not an original recipe of mine and I do not remember where I got it or if after I got it I modified it... :(

pink salmon
1/4 c
onion, finely chopped
1/4 c
1 large
egg, beaten
3 Tbsp
salt and pepper to taste
oil for frying

How to Make Salmon Cakes


  • 1Drain and remove bones from salmon
  • 2mix all ingredients and form into 2" patties (refrigerating for 30 minutes will help patties hold together while cooking).
  • 3Fry in oil on medium high heat until browned on each side (about 4-5 minutes per side or deep fry 3-5 minutes.
