Ingredients
- 8 ounces rice noodles
- 2 tuna filets
- 1 cup red cabbage
- 1 red chili seeded and finely chopped
- 1/4 cup cilantro chopped
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon each fish sauce and sesame oil
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- juice and zest of 1 lime
- 1 tablespoon black sesame seeds
- lime wedges
How To Make pan seared tuna noodle bowl

Step 1Cook the noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside. In a saucepan over med heat add the sesame oil. Add the garlic and ginger and saute 1 minute. Add the soy sauce, fish sauce, lime juice and brown sugar. Cook 1 minute. Add the red cabbage and chili and cook until cabbage is crisp tender. Remove from heat and set aside.

Step 2Place a cast iron pan over high heat until it smokes a bit. Lower the heat and add the tuna and sear about 2 minutes each side or until desired doneness. Remove the tuna to a cutting board.

Step 3Place the noodles on a plate. Top with the veggie sauce mixture. Top with fresh cilantro. Slice the Tuna and place it on the noodle bowl. Garnish with black sesame seeds. Serve with lime wedges.
