Ingredients
- 12 large head on shrimp
- 2 tablespoons cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 8 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary finely chopped
- 4 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons crystal hot sauce
- 1 large lemon juiced and quartered
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 cup beer
- 2 sticks butter cut into chunks
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make new orleans style bbq shrimp

Step 1Clean the shrimp by squeezing the head and running cold water over the head. Cut along the outside of shrimp and remove poop vein. Pat dry and sprinkle half the cajun seasoning over the shrimp. Set aside.

Step 2Add the oil to a large skillet. Add the garlic and rosemary and saute 1 minutes. Add the remaining Cajun seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, lemon juice and quarters, and honey. Cook 1 minute. Add the beer scrapping up the bottom of the pan and bring to a boil. Let boil about 3 minutes.

Step 3Add the shrimp and cook about 4 minutes. With slotted spoon remove the shrimp and the lemon quarters. Whisk in the butter one chunk at a time over low heat until sauce with glossy and well incorporated. Taste and adjust for salt and pepper. Transfer the shrimp back to the pan.

Step 4Serve the shrimp with lots of sauce and fresh bread for soaking up the sauce.
