Ingredients For miso blood orange scallops

  • 1/4 clove
    blood orange juice
  • 1/2 tsp
    blood orange zest
  • 2 Tbsp
    red miso paste
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 16
    sea scallops
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • microgreens for garnish

How To Make miso blood orange scallops

    MIx the blood orange juice, zest and miso paste together in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil. Turn heat down and cook 1 minute. Stir in the butter and stir until it melts. Set aside
  • 2
    Add oil to a skillet. Pat the scallops dry and season with salt and pepper. Sear the scallops in hot oil for 2 minutes per side.

    Add the sauce to a plate and top with scallops. Add a little microgreens for garnish
