A favorite among all ages! Quick and easy! Uses both pan frying and oven baking methods. Pan frying time depends on thickness of fish.

Ingredients

  • 3-4 - favorite fish fillets
  • 3/4 cup yellow cornmeal
  • - salsa of your choice
  • 3/4 cup sharp cheese, shredded

How To Make mexican fish bake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray your baking dish with Pam and set aside.
  • Step 2
    Place cornmeal in a shallow dish; dredge fillets until well coated (shake off excess).
  • Step 3
    Brown fillets quickly in frying pan with hot grease or oil.
  • Step 4
    Place in a single layer in baking dish; cover with salsa, then sprinkle sharp cheese on top.
  • Step 5
    Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Enjoy while hot!
