Ingredients
- SAUCE
- 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 1/2 teaspoons water
- DISH
- 8 medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 ounces pork belly, cut into small cubes
- 9 ounces rice noodles
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 medium yellow onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 anchovy, minced
- 2 cups green cabbage, chopped
How To Make malaysian hokkien mee

Step 1Mix the ingredients for the sauce together and set aside.

Step 2Prepare the noodles according to package directions. Drain and rinse.

Step 3Add oil to a pan and cook the pork belly until it crisps. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Step 4Sear the shrimp in the pork belly fat and remove to a bowl. Set aside.

Step 5Add the onion, garlic, and anchovy to the pan and cook for 2 minutes.

Step 6Add the cabbage and cook 2 more minutes.

Step 7Stir in the noodles and sauce.

Step 8Add the shrimp and cook for one minute.

Step 9Divide the stir-fry between two plates and top with the pork belly.
