Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cans (6 1/2 oz.) chopped clams, undrained
- 2 cans (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
- 4 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley
- 1 small chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons grated fresh parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried, whole basil
- 1 teaspoon dried, whole oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- - dash of red pepper
- 1 box (16 oz.) linguine, cooked
- - grated parmesan cheese
How To Make linguine with red clam sauce

Step 1Coat a skillet with olive oil; heat over medium-high heat until hot. Add garlic and saute 2 minutes.

Step 2Drain clams, reserving juice from 2 cans. Add reserved juice to garlic; set clams aside.

Step 3Add tomato sauce, onion, and 2 Tbsp. parmesan cheese, and seasonings to skillet. Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes. Stir in clams and cook until clam sauce is thoroughly heated.

Step 4Ladle clam sauce over linguine. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Yield 4 servings.
