Ingredients For korean garlic chili shrimp with noodles

  • 3 c
    noodles, medium sized
  • 5 tsp
    sesame oil
  • 4 tsp
    peanut oil
  • 1 bunch
    green onions, 3 in segments lengthwise
  • 3 c
    bean sprouts, fresh
  • 5 clove
    garlic, finely chopped
  • 1
    red chili pepper, chopped finely
  • 1 lb
    extra large shrimp, peeled
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    brown sugar

How To Make korean garlic chili shrimp with noodles

    Cook noodles according to the package. Rinse with cold water and add 1 1/2 tsp sesame oil to the noodles. Set aside.

    Heat 2 tsp peanut oil in a wok. Add 90% of the green onions and all the bean sprouts and cook until tender.

    Place the noodles in the wok with green onions and bean sprouts and heat until warm..

    Add the rest of the sesame oil and mix. When completely mixed, remove from the pan. Wipe out pan.

    Put the rest of peanut oil in wok and add chili and garlic. Cook for 20 seconds and add shrimp to wok. Cook just until shrimp is pink, 2-3 minutes.

    Stir in the sugar and soy and cook until sugar melts and the shrimp is done. Put on top of the noodles.

    Serve immediately with green onions and a few drops of sesame oil on top.
