honey walnut shrimp
I had this in a restaurant recently, but the shrimp was fried. For my version, I just sautéed the shrimp. I started with thawed, cooked shrimp. I removed tails before cooking. These go well with Asian-style coleslaw.

- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger (I use the kind in a tube)

How To Make honey walnut shrimp
-
Step 1Get your shrimp ready before you start. In my case, I thawed them and removed tails. This time was not included in the total time.
-
Step 2In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and red pepper. Set aside.
-
Step 3Heat oil in a frying pan. Add shrimp, stir briefly to warm them. Add the saved sauce and stir everything together until the sauce thickens and the shrimp are coated with the sauce. Add walnuts.
-
Step 4Divide the shrimp over the rice in two bowls and pour any extra sauce from the pan evenly over both.
