Ingredients

  • 2 limes juiced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 12 oz ahi tuna steaks
  • salt and pepper

How To Make honey lime glazed ahi tuna

  • Step 1
    In a bowl whisk together the lime juice, olive oil and garlic. Lay the tuna steak out on a plate and season with salt and pepper. Place half of the glaze mix over the tuna and let marinate for 30 minutes in the fridge.
  • Step 2
    whisk the honey into the remaining glaze. On a cast iron grill pan or outside grill get it hot place the tuna steak on the grill. Brush with the honey mixture. Sear 3 minutes turn and brush again with the honey mixture. turn in 3 minutes brush with honey mixture. keep turning and brushing until desired doneness.
