This is good. Be sure to not overcook the Halibut it can be really dry.

Ingredients For halibut fillets with pecan butter sauce

  • 2
    halibut fillets
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter
  • PECAN BUTTER SAUCE
  • 6 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1/2 c
    finely chopped pecans
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice

How To Make halibut fillets with pecan butter sauce

  • 1
    Dry the Halibut fillets and season with salt and pepper. Add oil to a skillet and sear the fillets on each side for about 4 minutes each. Then add the butter and continue to cook basting with the butter over low heat for about 4 more minutes.

    Remove the fillets from the pan and wipe out the pan and add the butter. Once the butter melts add the pecans and toast for about 4 minutes. Stir in the lemon juice. Serve the pecan butter over the fish
