gochu jang baby clams over rice
This recipe was a "hey, let's try this" recipe and really surprised us with how good it was. You can adjust the heat by using more or less Gochu Jang. I served it with a side of my Honeyed Carrots and it was the perfect contrast. Also beer helps tame the flame. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 can baby clams
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup white wine (not too sweet)
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons gochu jang paste
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 2 cups cooked rice
How To Make gochu jang baby clams over rice

Step 1Heat oil in skillet until hot.

Step 2Saute garlic.

Step 3Add clams and juice. Just dump the can.

Step 4Add wine, lime juice, honey, Gochu Jang paste, and sesame seeds. You will need to stir until the Gochu Jang has "melted".

Step 5Allow to reduce until quite thick.

Step 6Serve over rice.
