Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp peeled and deveined
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon mirin
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon each sugar and dark sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic chili paste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion diced
- 4 cloves garlic minced
How To Make ginger shrimp

Step 1Place the shrimp in a bowl and add the ginger, salt, and white pepper and marinate 30 minutes. Mix the water and next 6 ingredients together and set aside.

Step 2In a large skillet add the oil and add the shrimp and stir fry 2 minutes. Remove to a plate and set aside. Add the onion and garlic stir fry 1 minute. Add the shrimp back to pan and add the water mixture and bring to a boil.

Step 3once thickened add the shrimp back into the pan. Cook 1 minute
