Ingredients
- 1 can sprite
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1 stalk lemongrass
- 1 teaspoon sambal olek
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon butter
How To Make garlic lemongrass shrimp

Step 1Combine the Sprite and shrimp and marinate at least 1 hour.

Step 2Trim the lemongrass and mince the tender insides keep the outer tougher edges for the sauce flavoring.

Step 3Add the oil to large skillet. Add the garlic, sambal olek and minced lemongrass. Cook 30 seconds. Add the shrimp and Sprite marinade. Cook just until shrimp turns pink.

Step 4Remove the shrimp with a slotted spoon and transfer to a serving plate. Keep warm. Bring the sauce to a boil adding the tough lemongrass stalk. Cook until reduced by half and thickened. Remove the lemongrass stalk with slotted spoon and discard. Serve the sauce over the shrimp
