Ingredients
- SAUCE
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 pound jumbo shrimp raw peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 6 cloves garlic minced
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 8 ounces rice noodles
- 3 large eggs beaten
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 2 cups bean sprouts
- 4 scallions chopped green and white parts separated
- 1/4 cup roasted peanuts chopped
- thai basil and limes for serving
How To Make garlic butter shrimp pad thai

Step 1Mix the ingredients for the sauce together and set aside. Place 1 tbsp of oil in skillet and add the eggs cook until set on the bottom and then fold in half. Transfer to a cutting board

Step 2Add the 2 tbsp oil. Cook the shrimp until they start turning pink. Add the butter and garlic and cook until shrimp is done. Stir in the sauce.

Step 3Cook the noodle according to package directions. Slice the eggs into strips. Stir the noodles into the shrimp mixture than add the egg strips and white parts of green onions.

Step 4Serve garnished with bean sprouts, dark green parts of the scallion, basil and nuts. Squeeze a wedge of lime just before eating.
