Ingredients
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup butter
- 4-6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 pounds shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- - salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (or to taste)
- pinch fresh flat leaf chopped parsley
How To Make gambas al ajillo (garlic shrimp)

Step 1In a wide, shallow saute pan over high heat, warm the olive oil and the butter. Add the shrimp and garlic and saute quickly for about 2-3 minutes. Add the lemon juice, paprika, red pepper flakes, and salt to taste. Adjust seasonings to your liking. Transfer to a warmed serving dish, sprinkle with the parsley, garnish with lemon wedges and serve at once.
