Quick, simple, satisfying. Eat it on a nicely toasted bun or have it with a side salad .. you can't go wrong !

Ingredients

  • 1 can (5 oz can) tuna - water or oil packed
  • 1 tablespoon green onion finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped celery
  • 2 teaspoons dill weed
  • 1 - large egg white
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/8 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/8 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
  • 1/4 cup cracker crumbs - from cheddar crackers gives a nice flavor
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • - salt and pepper to taste

How To Make favorite tuna patties by maggie

  • Step 1
    Mix all ingredients except butter, salt and pepper. Form into 4 small patties or 2 larger patties. This mixture will be loose.
  • Step 2
    Place in fridge and chill for at least 30 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Melt butter in skillet then add patties. Cook for about 2 or 3 minutes or until golden on each side.
  • Step 4
    Serve on a toasted bun with lettuce and tartar sauce.
