Favorite Tuna Patties by Maggie
Eat it on a nicely toasted bun or have it with a side salad .. you can't go wrong !
1 can(s)(5 oz can) tuna - water or oil packed
1 Tbspgreen onion finely chopped
1 Tbspfinely chopped celery
2 tspdill weed
1large egg white
1 tsplemon juice
1/8 cshredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/8 cshredded pepper jack cheese
1/4 ccracker crumbs - from cheddar crackers gives a nice flavor
·salt and pepper to taste
How to Make Favorite Tuna Patties by Maggie
- Mix all ingredients except butter, salt and pepper.
Form into 4 small patties or 2 larger patties.
This mixture will be loose.
- Place in fridge and chill for at least 30 minutes.
- Melt butter in skillet then add patties.
Cook for about 2 or 3 minutes or until golden on each side.
- Serve on a toasted bun with lettuce and tartar sauce.
