Ingredients
- 4 - salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons cajun seasoning
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic whole
- - juice of 1 lemon
- - cilantro for garnish
How To Make easy cajun seared salmon

Step 1Preheat oven 400 degrees. Season the skinless side of the salmon with the Cajun seasoning and salt.

Step 2Melt the butter with the olive oil in a large cast iron skillet or non stick skillet. Add the whole garlic cloves. Let the garlic cook about 2 minutes. Add the salmon skin side down and sear until the skin is crispy.

Step 3Flip the salmon over and add the lemon juice. Place skillet in oven and let bake about 5 minutes depending on how thick your fillets are. Serve garnished with cilantro.
