I've made salmon a ton of different ways. But I don't think that I've ever seen a recipe for making it in a crock pot before......until now. Sounds interesting and posting this for safe-keeping to give it a try sometime soon. My notes say that this is by Sandra Souther of Gainesville, GA.

Ingredients
- 4 5-oz - salmon steaks
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 - bay leaves
- 2 - peppercorns
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary
- - fresh oregano or thyme
- 1 slice onion
- 1 sprig fresh parsley
How To Make crockpot poached salmon steaks

Step 1Lightly grease the bottom of the slow cooker, then place the salmon steaks (or fillets) in the bottom.

Step 2Put the remaining ingredients in a pan and heat until boiling. Pour over the salmon, put the lid on the slow cooker and cook at Low for approximately 3 hours.

Step 3Can serve hot or cold with a salad.
