Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- 1 cup orzo
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 4 cups chicken or seafood stock
- 1/2 cup peas, thawed if frozen
- 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled, deveined cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1/2 cup fresh grated Parmesan, plus more for garnish
How To Make creamy orzo with shrimp, peas and parmesan

Step 1Melt the butter in a large skillet. Add the onion and garlic and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 3 minutes. Add or orzo and cook for another minutes. Add the wine and let most evaporate.

Step 2Pour in the stock and bring to a boil cook about 15 minutes. Add the peas and shrimp and cook 5 more minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese until it's melted. Taste and adjust for seasoning. Serve with more grated Parmesan cheese
