Ingredients
- 16 large sea scallops
- salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 cup seafood or lobster stock
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 4 tablespoons honey
- fresh cilantro for garnish
How To Make cilantro lime butter scallops

Step 1Season the scallops with salt and pepper. Add olive oil to a large skillet. Sear the scallops until browned. Remove to a plate and set aside.

Step 2Add the butter to the skillet. Add the garlic and cook 1 minute. Add the stock, lime juice honey and cilantro. Bring to a boil and let reduce a bit.

Step 3Add the scallops back to the pan for 30 seconds basting with the sauce. Serve immediately.
