Ingredients
- 1 pound bay scallops
- 7 tablespoons butter divided
- 2 teaspoons cajun seasoning
- 1 cup fresh mushrooms sliced
- 1/2 cup green onions chopped
- 1/2 cup chicken stock
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- fresh parsley for garnish
How To Make cajun scallops in lemon butter mushroom sauce

Step 1In a skillet add 4 tbsp butter. Place the scallops in the butter and sprinkle the cajun seasoning over top and sear on both sides for about 2 minutes per side. Remove to a plate and set aside.

Step 2Add another tbsp of butter to the skillet and add the mushrooms and green onions and cook 4 minutes. Add the chicken broth and lemon juice. bring to a boil.

Step 3Stir in the remaining butter. Add the scallops back to the pan and cook 1 minute. Garnish with parsley Serve immediately
