beer and ketchup shrimp
I love these tasty shrimp with the sauce. You don't have to use head-on shrimp, but they are delish. It's great with crusty bread to sop up that sauce.

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons ginger, grated
- 2 pounds head-on shrimp, deveined
- salt and pepper
- 1 cup beer
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 1 tablespoon water
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 stalks scallions, chopped
- crusty bread
How To Make beer and ketchup shrimp

Step 1Add olive oil to a saucepan. Add the onion, garlic, and ginger. Cook about 1 minute.

Step 2Add the shrimp and cook for one minute.

Step 3Add the beer, ketchup, and sugar, and bring to a boil.

Step 4Mix the water and corn starch together. Stir into the sauce. Cook until thick.

Step 5Stir in the butter and scallions. Serve immediately.
