Ingredients
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 inch piece of ginger grated
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons mirin
- 1 teaspoon each sesame oil and sambal oelek
- 1 pound sushi grade ahi tuna cut into small dice
- 3 scallions chopped
- 3 tablespoons toasted macadamia nuts
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped

Step 1In a small bowl combine the garlic, ginger, soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, sambal and Mirin

Step 2Place the tunal in a bowl and pour the soy mixture over top. Set in fridge for 30 minutes.

Step 3remove from fridge and stir in the nuts and garnish with cilantro
