Meat and Tomato Pie
Use leftover chicken, beef or turkey after Thanksgiving!
You can play around with seasonings, too. If I use chicken I add a little poultry seasoning and sliced green onions. I've even used diced tomatoes with green chilies.

1 can(s)tomatoes, diced, drained
1/2 tsponion juice
1 tspworcestershire sauce
1/4 cfine bread crumbs

4 tspbaking powder
How to Make Meat and Tomato Pie
- Preheat oven 400.
In a deep dish arrange in alternate layers meat and tomatoes, season each layer with salt and pepper and sprinkle with crumbs.
- Add onion juice and Worcestershire sauce to gravy and pour over all. Bake 20 minutes.
- Make biscuits: Mix and sift dry ingredients, rub in shortening until fine and crumbly, add milk to form a soft dough.
- Remove from oven and drop biscuit mixture by spoonfuls on top; bake about 15 minutes.
