In talking to my friend Jill, she mentioned making a chicken 'meat pie', which is what I would call a Pot Pie...She said it is also good with beef if you prefer, and has never tried it with pork...

Ingredients

  • 2 pie crusts (i prefer the pillsbury, myself)
  • 1 bag mixed veggies (i used 16 oz)
  • 1 rotisserie chicken, cut into bite sized pieces (taken off the bone, and no skin)
  • 1 package chicken gravy, prepared (could use 2)

How To Make jill's chicken pot pie (jill harl)

  • Step 1
    Put bottom crust in pie plate. Layer in veggies and chicken. Prepare gravy mix, put into pie plate then top with top crust. Pinch crusts together, poke a few holes in the top crust. Bake until heated through. NOTE: I baked it at 350 degrees, started at 35 min. Checked. Crust not browned, so added 20 min. Then took out of oven and let sit 5 min or so before cutting.
  • Step 2
    If using beef, use a beef gravy package, prepared. I would find a pork gravy package if trying with pork.
