In an effort to come up with new ways to bring variety to my low carb/high fat diet that I am on, came up with this quiche which consists of many low carb choices (eggs, sausage, artichoke and cheese). It even has a high fat in it, the whipping cream! Enjoy this amazing dish, with the pesto flavored egg and the unique Dutch Gouda...

How To Make italian sausage artichoke gouda quiche
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Unroll the crescent roll dough and press into an ungreased 10x9 oven pan, pushing the dough up the sides of the pan, sealing edges together.

Step 2Sprinkle 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, 1/2 cup Gouda cheese, the Italian sausage and the artichoke onto the dough. Sprinkle the onions, pepper and garlic next.

Step 3Whisk eggs, cream and pesto (I used basil for this one) together and pour over the the mixture in the pan. Sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese. (Save the rest of the Gouda to put on top for the last 15 minutes of baking.)
-
Step 4Bake until fork inserted in middle comes out clean, approximately 40 to 45 minutes, putting the remaining Gouda on top for the last 15 minutes. Cool 30 minutes and cut into 15 squares. Approximately 8 carbs per serving...
