1 - 8 or 9inch unbaked pie shell
1 cchicken - cooked and finely diced ( can use rotisserie ) a time saver
1/2 cham - diced
2 casparagus - cooked and cut into pieces ( make sure if fresh you take the stringy tough ends off )
1 cswiss cheese - shredded
1/2 - 3/4 cfontina cheese - shredded
1 chalf and half
·salt and pepper to taste
extraasparagus to garnish
How to Make Heavenly Quiche
- Preheat oven to 425 degree F.
In a bowl toss chicken, ham, asparagus and cheese.
Place into unbaked pie shell.
Whisk milk, eggs, and seasonings together. ( I use my blender, makes the quiche fluffy and light. )
Pour over mixture in pie shell. I sometimes add some grated cheese to the top, the last few minutes of baking.
Bake for 15 minutes at 425 degrees.
Reduce heat to 300 degrees and bake another 40-45 minutes or until knife inserted in middle comes out clean.
