Ingredients
- 1 1/4 pounds ground beef
- 1/3 cup onion
- 1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
- 8 ounces green beans, drained
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/4-1/2 teaspoon salt
- 8 ounces refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 large egg
- 8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded or monterey jack
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
How To Make hearty beef & cheese crescent pie

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Step 2In large fry pan brown ground beef, onion and green pepper. Drain.

Step 3Put ground beef mixture back in pan and stir in tomato sauce, green beans, cumin, garlic salt and salt. Simmer while preparing crust.

Step 4Separate rolls into 8 triangles. Place in 9 inch pie dish. Press over bottom and sides to form a crust.

Step 5Combine 1 egg with 1 cup of cheese and spread over crust. ( Sides and bottom).

Step 6Spoon hot meat mixture into crust. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and paprika.

Step 7Bake for 20-25 minutes. For easier serving let stand for 5 minutes.
