Ingredients

1 1/4 lb
ground beef
1/3 c
onion
1/4 c
green pepper, chopped
8 oz
green beans, drained
1/2 tsp
cumin
1/4 tsp
garlic salt
1/4-1/2 tsp
salt
8 oz
refrigerated crescent rolls
1 large
egg
8 oz
cheddar cheese, shredded or monterey jack
8 oz
tomato sauce

How to Make Hearty Beef & Cheese Crescent Pie

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • 2In large fry pan brown ground beef, onion and green pepper. Drain.
  • 3Put ground beef mixture back in pan and stir in tomato sauce, green beans, cumin, garlic salt and salt.
    Simmer while preparing crust.
  • 4Separate rolls into 8 triangles.
    Place in 9 inch pie dish.
    Press over bottom and sides to form a crust.
  • 5Combine 1 egg with 1 cup of cheese and spread over crust. ( Sides and bottom).
  • 6Spoon hot meat mixture into crust.
    Sprinkle with remaining cheese and paprika.
  • 7Bake for 20-25 minutes.
    For easier serving let stand for 5 minutes.
