These are super tasty. Really good. Easy to make and flavorful. Something different than a burger. You can use regular mayonnaise. I like the Japanese Kewpie mayonnaise it is much richer since they use more egg yolks

Ingredients For tuna burgers

  • 6 oz
    can tuna drained well
  • 1
    egg
  • 1/2 c
    italian bread crumbs
  • 1 md
    shallot minced
  • 2 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1/4 c
    kewpie mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp
    heinz chili sauce
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried dill weeds.
  • dash
    worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1/2
    tomato sliced
  • 2
    burger buns
  • extra mayo for serving

How To Make tuna burgers

  • 1
    Mix the tuna, breadcrumbs, egg, shallot, garlic, Mayo, chili sauce, dill weed, Worcesterdhire sauce, salt and pepper.

    Carefully form two patties. It will be a little loose.

    Add the oil to a skillet. Wait until the oil is sizzling hot and add the patties. Cook about 5 minutes on one side. Carefully turn the patties and cook another 5 minutes.

    Spread mayo on the top of both buns and then add the tomato slice. Add the tuna patties. Serve immediately.
