Ingredients
- 2 slices multigrain bread (we tested w/light wheat and oat bread)
- 3 tablespoons almond butter (sunflower, flax, cashew or other seed/nut butter can be subbed)
- 2 slices bacon, crisply cooked and drained (or your favorite vegetarian bacon)
- 1 tablespoon honey (we also tested the second sandwich switching berry jam for honey)
- pinch ground cinnamon
- 1 small banana, peeled and sliced
How To Make the healthy elvis is in the house

Step 1ARRANGE bread in even layer on clean work surface.

Step 2STIR together almond butter or similar seed or nut butter, bacon, honey, and cinnamon in small bowl. Spread on bread, dividing evenly. Divide banana between 2 slices of the bread in even layer. Place other slice of bread on top.

Step 3HEAT large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray over medium heat. Add sandwiches and grill until golden and heated through, 4 to 5 minutes per side.
