This is an old School Lunch recipe that was served in schools in Burien, WA in the 1960s-70s. I believe the schools used the "commodity cheese", similar to Velveeta. Choose the type, or combination, of cheese you prefer.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef (83% lean)
- 1 cup grated cheddar or velveeta or combination
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- garic salt.to taste or fresh minced garlic and salt
- 8 hamberger buns
How To Make sweepstakes sandwiches

Step 1Brown ground beef with garlic and salt. Drain excess grease.

Step 2Mix together beaten eggs and milk.

Step 3Mix beef and milk mix together with dry mustard.

Step 4Spread on bottom buns on baking pan and bake at 450 degrees for 5-10 minutes. Place bun tops on top of sandwiches and bake for another minute or two until warmed through. (adjust times to your oven) Serve!
