steak sandwich
I had a couple of steaks in the freezer and some onion buns I needed to use so I decided to put them together. This made a terrific sandwich!

Ingredients
- 4 - delmonico steaks
- 4 - onion buns
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- - salt to taste
- - pepper to taste
- - garlic powder to taste
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- - leaf lettuce (optional)
- - sliced tomato (optional)
- - sliced onion (optional)
How To Make steak sandwich

Step 1heat butter and oil over high heat.

Step 2when pan is hot and butter is melted, add steaks. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Cook on over high heat for 5 minutes. Flip and sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder and lay a slice of cheddar cheese on top. Cook 5 minutes longer.

Step 3Serve steak on toasted bun with lettuce, tomato, and onion.
