My husband loves those frozen sizzle steaks with the mystery meat inside them. I'm not a fan, but he loves these egg sandwiches.

Ingredients

  • 2 sizzler steaks
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 large eggs
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • paprika
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 slices American cheese
  • 2 tablespoons mayo
  • 1 8-inch hoagie bun

How To Make sizzler steak n eggs sammie

  • Step 1
    Place a skillet on the stove. Add a smear of olive oil. Add the onions and sauté for 2 minutes. Add the sizzler in the skillet and cook, breaking it up until it's no longer pink. Remove to a plate.
  • Step 2
    Add the butter to the pan and place the hoagie bun inside down, and toast the inside of the bread. Remove the bread to a plate.
  • Step 3
    Add the eggs to the skillet and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Add the meat and onions back in and mix all together until the eggs are done.
  • Step 4
    Place the cheese on top of the egg mixture and place a lid on the pan for a few seconds until the cheese melts.
  • Step 5
    Spread the mayo on the top bun. Place the egg mixture on the bottom bun.
  • Step 6
    Then put the sandwich together and press down a bit.
