Slow Cooker Crock Pot

1 lb serves 4 regular sandwiches
Ingredients
- 4-8 pounds pork butt or shoulder
- - seasoned salt
- - seasoned pepper
- 2-4 - onions, yellow, peeled and quarted
- 1/2-1 cup water
- 2-4 tablespoons liquid smoke flavoring
- - hamburger buns
- - bbq sauces
- - coleslaw, optional
- - pickles, sliced, optional
How To Make simply pulled pork

Step 1Pat pork dry. Liberally season all sides with seasoned salt and seasoned pepper.

Step 2Place onions on bottom of slow cooker. Place pork, fat side up, on onions.

Step 3Measure liquid. Add liquid smoke. Pour in slow cooker

Step 4Cook on low for 6-8 hours, to internal temperature of 190 degrees.

Step 5Remove pork and onions from slow cooker. Let rest. Defat liquid and put aside.

Step 6Using hands or two forks, shred pork, removing fat, if desired. Place in slow cooker. Chop onions and mix with pork. Add enough liquid to moisten. Save extra liquid and add as needed.

Step 7Serve with buns, and favorite bbq sauces. Additional side ideas, coleslaw and/or sliced pickles.
