1 medium
onion, chopped
1/2 c
celery, sliced
1 c
water
1/2 c
ketchup
10 3/4 oz
tomato soup
2 Tbsp
brown sugar
2 Tbsp
prepared mustard
1/2 tsp
black pepper
1 tsp
salt

How to Make Savvy's Sloppy Joes

Step-by-Step

  • 1Brown ground beef, celery & onion in a skillet. Drain fat.
  • 2Add remaining ingredients to drained ground beef. Bring to a simmer on low medium heat, cover and continue to simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes.
  • 3Scoop a large spoonful onto a bun and enjoy. This recipe can be doubled and frozen in sizes of containers of your choice.
