rose's 7 up chili burgers

A co-worker invited me to a baby shower, and served this. It was so easy, super yummy, and can be made sweeter or more spicy, depending on what you add more of; ketchup or bbq sauce. Try it, you'll love it!

Ingredients For rose's 7 up chili burgers

  • 6 lb
    hamburger
  • 2 lg
    chopped onions
  • ketchup (1 t per pound of meat)
  • bbq sauce (1 t per pound of meat)
  • 7 up
  • buns

How To Make rose's 7 up chili burgers

  • 1
    Fry hamburger and onion, drain grease, and rinse with hot water. Add BBQ and ketchup. For spicier, add more BBQ than ketchup. For sweeter, add more ketchup than BBQ.

    As long as you keep 2 T per pound, the variety is up to you.

    Add 7 Up to make the sauce and let simmer. Serve on buns. If you want to use slider buns, or regular buns, it is entirely up to you.
