Ingredients

  • 1/2 c
    olive oil
  • 1
    small red onion finely chopped
  • 3 clove
    garlic chopped
  • 4 Tbsp
    fresh lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp
    red wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried oregano
  • 1 tsp
    dried mint
  • 1 1/2 lb
    pork loin, trimmed of silver skin and excess fat
  • ·
    salt and pepper
  • ·
    tzatziki sauce
  • ·
    pitas

How to Make Pork Pitas

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix all ingredients except pork. Trim pork as described, and cut into 1-inch cubes. Marinate 2 hours to overnight.
  2. Take pork from marinade and place on skewers and grill, or remove excess marinade and cook till done in pan on stove.
  3. Serve with pitas and tzatziki sauce.
