These have always been a favorite of my family. When my son went to work, he was asked to bring something to a holiday party and he called me for this recipe. Just this Christmas, my daughter and her family were coming and she requested I make these so her husband could try them.

Ingredients For party sandwiches

  • 1 c
    butter, softened
  • 1 - 2 Tbsp
    horseradish mustard
  • 2 Tbsp
    poppy seeds
  • 1 tsp
    Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 md
    onion, minced
  • 3 pkg
    small party rolls (1 dozen each)
  • 1 lb
    cooked ham, thinly sliced
  • 1 lb
    Swiss cheese, grated

How To Make party sandwiches

  • 1
    Mix butter, mustard, poppy seeds, Worcestershire, and onion.

    Split package of rolls horizontally through the center. Spread butter mixture on both sides of rolls.

    Layer bottom half with ham, sprinkle Swiss cheese on top of ham and replace tops.

    Bake at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes.

    These freeze well; cut into individual rolls before freezing so a few can be used at a time.
